They used Turboranger here just because 'Turbo' is in the name. I thought it was really funny when Secchan lampshaded that the Turborangers don't actually do any of the stuff the gear did. Just roll with it, and don't think too hard about it!

Really exciting debut for TwoKai-Oh! That insert song sounded pretty samurai-y, so I wonder if each form is going to have their own song? Also I guess Battle Ceasar Robo showed up too to not do anything.

As for the story, feels like we're entering that arc of "new guy interacts a little with everyone else bit by bit". I dunno if the single conversation that Zox has with Zyuran and Magine here counts as bonding, but I'm confident its just the first step to him warming up to the team as a whole.
