It's definitely been interesting hearing his reactions considering not only his past experience with Rider up until now but also his general personality type.

But, to his credit, he has been giving the show an honest chance, and if nothing else, he definitely finds it to be an overall interesting watch considering just how unique and ambitious the show itself is.

As for me? Yeah, I really dig it. The almost dreamlike atmosphere, the likable characters, the fantastically utilized soundtrack, and the overall themes of growing up, instrumentation, and how art reflects life, are all wonderful to me. It's like watching a televised kabuki play.

Something we discovered that I wanna note though. In one episode Asumu's' circle of friends go to see a movie called "Fly Daddy Fly" which, as it turns out, is a real movie! We looked up a synposis of the film and... yeah, let's just say it was clear no one else at Toei checked what it was, haha. Was also surprised to see the U.S. Polo Association being advertised at one point too.

Do you get a Kuuga vibe from Hibiki? It seems one of the Kamen Rider that has one of the more harmonic casts. Everyone gets along well, interacts in a grounded way, and is working together towards repeling the Makamou. Asumu admires Hibiki and it's mutual as he quickly agrees to take him under his wing, Kasumi calls out Hibiki's antics out of concern for Asumu, Ibuki is relaxed and is never at odds with Hibiki (in contrast to usual secondary Riders, even Ichijou is hostile to Yusuke for first 3 episodes) and doesn't mind about Asumu "slowing down", giving advice to Akira who gives too harsh response for that, Akira herself means it in her apology for her harsh treatment to Asumu at first, Midori goes out of her way to compensate for a mistake she did to Asumu, etc.
