I did it. I watched the most infamous Kamen Rider X episode there is.



And I was honestly disappointed? The problem with the current run of episodes is that there's not that many ways for "GOD and Keisuke fight over the missing blueprints" to go, so once the initial shock of, well, his entire design concept wears off, the episode is fairly standard. It's not bad by any means, with Keisuke and the gang having some initiative for once in combatting GOD, and Kamen Rider X kicking the arse of goons in Nazi costumes makes for good karma, the episode never elevates itself in a way, say, Genghis Khandor does.

It's then followed by a recap show for the last two series where V3 shows up and they fight returning monsters. No-one questions how Tachibana knows so much about the Kamen Riders because he's just that cool. Also, it has this image.

I am... disturbed.
