Unpopular opinion, but I'm so glad they dropped Foundation X.
Yeah, a unifying force is neat, but when all they do is walk around in white coats holding briefcases as the heroes are unable to catch up with their average walking pace, it's so lame.

So for such a dull group to be the "Real" masterminds behind the main villains' plots feels like such a slap in the face. The villains with charisma and an interesting plot is actually 10 rungs down the ladder of nobody characters? Yeah, no thank you.
