Well, I powered through the three new episodes Tuesday night, and they weren't terrible. In fact, they hint at new details in the future.

First off, the first new episode "Cut Off" debuts Fortress Formation in fighting Roostafa! Not much else to say there, though I am mildly surprised to see a pay phone gag in 2021!

The second episode, "Phoning Home", is definitely amusing cause it introduces Slyther, the adaptation of Wizeru, who is a shape-shifter and so good at it that he mimics Roostafa and grows giant only to have his mind wiped from the battle! Campbell Cooley is at the top of his game here!

The third episode, "McScary Manor", feels like it's inspired by a number of different paranormal shows/movies and the mysteries which surround them. It centers on Amelia and her grandfather, Pop-Pop, who really has some interesting character development despite only being a Ranger relative! It's revealed that Pop-Pop raised Amelia after her parents mysteriously disappeared while also revealing that he worked at Area 62 where he saw a bunch of "top secret" stuff! Oh, we also see the debut of Dimevolcano as the Dimetro Blazing Zord and the T-Rex Blazing Megazord in the battle with Tombtress! I have a nagging feeling that this one is meant to be the standard Halloween episode, but no promises.

Either way, I think you'll get something out of them if you give 'em a chance!
