For sure, which is why I was so gratified that Inoue cut to the chase. We've all seen this type of intro from him, so why not just reveal that, yeah, Taiga is an evil Fangire who is totally fine with his role as Humanity's Conservationist/Gamekeeper. I assume there's more left to learn, but Taiga's debut here is so multi-faceted (we see him with Wataru, with Mio, with Megumi, in the boardroom, in an action scene... it's a buffet of Taiga scenes) that it doesn't feel repetitive or one-note.
