To be honest, I think anniversary Riders need to move away from direct visual tributes and homages. Otherwise, we'll just get samey looking riders every 5 years.

For something as old as Kamen Rider is, I'm actually glad it isn't too overly self-referential and meta like a lot of other long-running franchises...
