That aside, I felt episode 29 was only okay. Like, yeah, it's clear that's meant to be a more light-hearted one to prep us for the eventual drama ahead, but it really does feel like a retread of the last time him and Liu Bei fought.

Episode 30 also seems to cement that Sun Ce getting deceived is going to be a running trend. Still, it does set up a nice air of mystery, and the fight between him and Cao Cao was really cool.
