I am happy for everything, including the Void Knight figure & his Power Key that may have confirmed something I theorized for the show too.

As for Eyeguy, it's very likely that they had a budget of 30 bucks when making the figure so they talked to the factories & said "We're making EyeGuy, how much in terms of paint apps can we get away with to keep it at 30 bucks?"

It sucks, but that's honestly how manufacturing is handled these days/Otherwise the monster figures would be 50 bucks each.

This might be a little off factually-speaking, but a part of me is thinking that they relied more on the old Bandai toy as a reference model rather than actual photos or footage of the original suit. If you look at the two, there really isn't a lot of difference in the paint. The only real difference besides the size is that the LC version has a more show-accurate "eye-on-a-stalk" and the figure can shut its "mouth" to better emulate the "closed mouth" appearance from the show (though it's only slightly better than the original figure and not quite perfect).
