Although I found the lack of a system a little disappointing since I've been buying the DX mecha, I wouldn't say it's worse, just different. The Zenkaiger mecha that've been released so far (up to a point) look far more deliberate - and less cobbled-together - than most recent Sentai mecha, and I appreciate that. (I mean, KishiRyuOh alone was a great design, but got less so the more stuff you attached to him.)

I confess I'm not into the Cuttaner and Rikki designs, but that's entirely a matter of taste, and Sentai has done sillier mecha in the past.
