It feel reminisce of hanazakari drama remake base off of the original. The effects look good for its time in 90s, but not so much here. The mystery and suspense get dwarf by the acting of the ancient human. Although it seems like it consolidate the lore instead of slowly expanding it with retcon like Tiga did with it movies after the series ended. Hence female ultra being foreshadow as well as the ultra of darkness. Nostalgic or not the acting was more on point in the 90s.
