While I don't dislike the modern films, I am a bit sad that the more grounded stylings of the first movie was completely thrown out.

It is pretty wild how it went from Point Break with cars, Miami Vice mixed with a bit of Dukes of Hazzard, Initial D, roided-out brodude Ocean's 11, and currently G.I.Joe with cars, beer, and barbecues. They are pretty much a black-ops team at this point. Would not be surprised if they suddenly became the Avengers in the final movie that will end it all.
That said, just realized Michael Rooker was in the recent movie.
