First of all, thank you so much for the kind words, and second of all, that's exactly why it's crazy to me looking back that I kept that picture so long! If I've got my dates right here, I had that signature before you even joined the boards, and kept it until several threads into Die's whole Kamen Rider adventure. I'm pretty sure Die doesn't even know what a "Mega Ranger" is!

I think I had always sort of meant to go back to the perfectly nice Ghost-themed signature I was using prior, but as esoteric a choice as it was, it just always made me happy to look at that picture of my guy Kouichirou being exactly the overly serious dork I love him for being, even long after I had finished watching Megaranger. And if the fact that I put that show over Ghost in any context at all doesn't say something, I don't know what will.

I don't know about popularity or anything, but speaking for myself, I think the Psycho Rangers are another instance like the Magna Defender where they benefit hugely from how faithfully adapted they are from their excellent Sentai counterparts. A lot (not all, I'm sure, but a lot!) of the impact and awesomeness of those episodes of In Space can be traced directly back to stuff that was impactful and awesome about those episodes of Megaranger.
