It's pretty much what if we made Saint Seiya an isekai anime and instead of Greek mythology we replace it with Hindu mythology. And Inoue wrote some of the eps. And titular hero is voiced by Momotaros while the brainwashed friend/archnemesis is by Dio. And it was made by Tatsunoko.

I've actually heard of that one, though I forgot it until right this moment. I'll throw it on my to-watch list after I wrap up YST and while I'm waiting to acquire the second and third seasons of Sailor Moon.

But, funny you do bring that up because a friend of mine dug up some info on the original pitch for YST, and it is... interesting.
