It is strange, yeah! But my case was only born out of circumstance. I played the PSP climax heroes and saw Decade and noticed he had all the rider powers. So, little Rei thought "Uwah! He's so strong! He must the best!" So, I ended up watching. A lot of the references also flew way over my head, but I ended up just liking them anyway since I just went with the idea that these guys are all main characters in their own show.
