So I did not see anyone mention it, but my ability to spot things often fails me so sorry if it was already said.

The fact that the main antagonists home base is a nightclub setting, is very likely a homage to Devilman.

For context: In Devilman the main character becomes Devilman by literally going to a night club with booze, drugs , dancing and sex, a place where humans literally let the devil inside them out.

And that is exactly what is happening in the deadman base, it is a club where people let the devil inside out.

Right, all in all I loved the first episode, and I am really looking forward to see how this season goes, the action and suits look wonderful, and I especially liked the monster suits after looking at them for a bit, they have a real creep factor going.
