Makes sense, I've only actually watched a few of their subs before (not really a super small ammount just less than I've seen from other groups) and smth always seemed a bit off to me? It could be some personal thing tho since I don't really know how to describe it

I remeber for Zero-One I checked out their subs, over-time's subs, and tv-nihon's just to compare them all, and i watched the Genm ones first, but then the other two just seemed a lot better, at least personally

Idk what the deal is because it would be hard to quantify, maybe they're just not for me for some reason?

I might flip through their revice episode 1 tho just to compare and contrast with IzuSubs

Tbh i don't really mind IzuSubs, they use a couple awkward word choices now and again but for the most part the flow of the dialogue works for me, so it's probably just a personal preference thing overall

EDIT: after running though some of my favourite scenes from the episode in the GenmSub version I think I do prefer the IzuSubs version, though I could definitely see other people liking the Genm ones more

I do appreciate the subs for the transformation text messages and the theme song lyrics

I think it's definitely a me thing though since again I can't really point to anything wrong with the subs, they just don't quite click with me, idk

Also took a look at NonActionable's scrub of the IzuSubs, and it seems pretty close to ideal for people who want more of the Japanese translated (it also has the texting and the lyrics translated), and a bit more localized... but they still have combi I'm, and also use demon rather than devil
