Appreciate the info! Thanks!

I cannot tell you how excited I was when Decade started drumming, and then Todoroki started playing to the beat, and then Tenki started playing to their song, and then and then and then. Holy hell, it was exactly what I wanted to happen in Kamen Rider Hibiki - a summation of how lives layer on each other until something magical happens - and they
never
did it. But then
Decade
did it! I don't know if I'm going to get a better gift all year. The
smile
on my face during this scene, you guys.

Yeah, this one was a total blast, as well as being a really moving story about Big Ideas. I also sort of like it as a capper to Heisei lessons of heroism, because it's... like, this one's about
growing up
, you know? It's about leaving behind the tutorial parts of your life, the nascent stages, and becoming someone in charge of their own destiny. It's that thing Photo Studio Hayao Miyazaki says at the start of this story, where a journey's end is just another journey's beginning. This is maybe the end of Tsukasa as someone trying to figure himself out, and the start of Tsukasa going after what he wants. It's the show graduating out of adolescence, and it uses
the series about graduating out of adolescence
to illustrate that.

I was talking to DreamSword earlier today, and he was like I Hate Watching Decade Except For When Diend Is Around, and I was like Good News. This was one for the folks who were frustrated about Kaitou being underutilized, for sure.

While it was fantastic in it's own right, it didn't do enough to dethrone Kiva, Den-O or Kabuto in my "Top 3 I'm going to watch these after Decade" list. Maybe for the better since I don't have experience with Hibiki like everyone else does.
I would say that, if you liked these episodes, you would really like Hibiki The Series. Maybe not the whole thing, but enough episodes to say it's worth your time. (Most everyone hates the back section of Hibiki, but I think it's still got parts to recommend going through it. I am in the minority, though!)
