Yeah, it's kind of like the first 4 episodes of Drive, with the human protagonist learning to understand their own style of being a Kamen Rider, finding their own motivation to fight, etc.

Maybe it would be a little similar to Rintarou finding his family in Saber, but yeah I think it would be good to emphasize that family isn't just restricted to people who share blood and that anybody with a strong emotional connection can call themselves family, like how Chaser pointed out that Shinnosuke and Gou are brothers, even without blood.

But yeah, there were several points where this just didn't feel like Episode 4 at all! Ayaka telling Revi that not every family is happy is pretty much exactly what I brought up last time, but then the episode goes in an unexpected direction by showing how Ayaka's mother's failure as a parent isn't unique to her. Ikki has also been failing his younger siblings, in a vindictive way towards Daiji, coldly calling him out on his flaws while being ignorant of his own. In this episode, somehow, Vice is most moral of the two protagonists, giving a justiFaized scolding to Ikki for how mean he's being to his siblings. Maybe that's what the scene from the OP actually means, that Vice adjusts his morality to contrast Ikki's. So a devil can act as a good conscience in certain situations, it would seem.

Ptera Genome references my favorite Rider, favorite dinosaur and favorite Machine all at once!

Ptera is a Stormbird, which I died to many times on my first playthrough. Very strong opponent!

And what an awesome debut Ptera Genome got! For as much as I've been enjoying Revice's story so far, there are two things I've been missing from Saber. The first is Mei. The second is CGI action. Well, here's some CGI action, as Revice fly through the city after the first Phase 2 Deadman and man, that was an awesome sequence! Yet another reason why Ptera Genome is going to be my favorite for the foreseeable future! I also love that Revice get their equipment in a briefcase. That's so Faiz!
