So going into this two parter for me, this is the world that ended up getting me to do another habit of mine when watching old Heisei. And that was if I wasn't watching the series, I'd at least watch the movie since the Missing Ace dudes were pretty cool to see. Also interesting to note that I don't think they use the sound effects for the Missing Ace crew at all. So they have no actual announcements which just also keeps on the "We're not mentioning Blade" route they were going for.

Regardless this wasn't like, a big, big set of episodes but I did like how Diend got focus. And honestly I managed to find his backstory a lot more bearable than Natsumi's. Because the flashbacks were pooled into one chunk and actually had plot details that weren't Daiki just hanging out with people and that just sorta being the only part of the flashbacks. These flashbacks were pooled together and given in one burst and told you what you needed to know.
