I can see that. This story... it just doesn't do a lot to set up Black or RX's premise, beyond vague comments about "comrades". It doesn't really pop as a world. The Rider and monster costumes are neat, and that's about it? If Switchblade weren't around for me to pester, I'm not sure I'd've gotten anything from Black or RX's storyline.
