The acoustic Cyclone Effect and Kiriyama's genuine tears as Shoutarou totally sell this scene. Even just thinking about it is very emotional!

That's a common opinion, but one that I disagree with. Takeru dying in Episode 33 is especially nothing to joke about either, as I explain in Rei's review of the show. But it's not like I can make you feel anything, if your heart isn't in it. Maybe that might change as you continue to watch.
