This movie, as Die mentioned, is a lot of fun, with some really good plot points, but does suffer in some of those regards. I never personally had anything against this movie, since at the time I heard it wasn't very well-loved. It introduces us to a grand Rider battle royale (Shinji's probably not happy), having the crew torn apart and put into this situation that looks hopeless, but then one final spark turns the tables.

I do feel like the Dai-Shocker Great Leader Tsukasa plot to be a little out of the blue, but also considered how Tsukasa seems to just naturally fit into his roles in worlds, or at least when it comes to how he acts like a jerk. Maybe it helped me like this movie better? I'm not too sure, though even all these odd and underplayed ideas can't take the fun out of the action.

Now that I think about it, Tsukasa treated Natsume rather neglectedly at the start of the show, much like his sister presented here, how he ditches her to find a world he could better fit in. Don't know whether that was intentional or not, but people also point out the bit where he acknowledges AR Tendou's sister in Kabuto World.

Seeing all the Riders fight together is definitely fun, regardless how well the story is or not, but there's just something special about this one. Maybe it's the Final Form Ride storm, maybe it's Giant Decade (thanks J!), or just the thrill of seeing these karate bugmen blow monsters up with their kicks, I can't quite put my foot on it.

And our boy Gackt as Riderman, who I didn't know who he was or who he was playing as, to my beginner's perspective, until later. But hearing that Riderman was his favorite was cool, even though it is a shame he couldn't get to wear his own suit and join the final battle.

I feel like this movie was a good ending for Decade... If that were the ending. As we might have come to expect from these Rider movies, they may or may not fit into the timeline of their show, or at least consistently, but they do have their own ways of providing entertainment, and that's good enough for me.
