Beyond that, I can't imagine trying to discuss a show I fundamentally disliked. It may happen some day, but... like, Ghost. I came here because Ghost was driving me nuts, but as soon as I started talking about it and writing about it, it became both easier to see its strengths, and more fulfilling to discuss them. Crabbing about Superhero Animal Teen Dance Parties or Double First Acts or whatever is mildly cathartic, but it's so much more interesting (to me, if no one else) to celebrate what a show is doing well. I don't always succeed at that, but it's more reflective of how I see these shows now.

I just like Kamen Rider, you guys.

That celebration of the ways fandom unites people… that’s what makes it hard for me to understand the people who claim that Kamen Rider Decade didn’t have its own story.
