I both agree that it is bland and find it underrated lol.

Alata is a character that could have worked but IMO Right seemed like a better executed version. Like its counterpart which I definitely found worse, it is mostly the female characters I remember and a show with 5 members all the way through that's after 1992 can seem a bit like austerity, but it did keep me going through (this is an even more unpopular opinion) the time when W was on and I genuinely didn't like it!

It is kind of a bit unmemorable and bland if I'm going to be brutally honest, but bad sentai is still fun and it does have its redeeming features, plus 1999 was also a quiet year in Japanese toku and I'm not the biggest fan of GoGoFive but that seems to have more people that like it!
