Not sure about the Rider shows.
Given this how would you source Toku DVDs?
I would go the normal route and save the shows to a hard drive, way more durable than DVD. Plus i get to have the choice of which quality i want to watch a show in, and be able to save that format of a show to my hardrive. I would go for official releases, but those are japan-only and cost like $200-300 for a full set of a series, plus the shipping.
The dvds that you watch Wentwood are bootleg releases from Malaysia that are marketed as "official" but they are not. These bootleggers cram cheap dvds with whatever format of a show will fit on the least amount of dvds, usually the worst picture quality, the subs are usually meh, and the quality of the video ranges from standard to grainy as hell. Not to mention the terrible quality of the transfers themselves. Sure these dvds are cheap, make it easy to get whole series on physical media for next to nothing, but they are what you pay for, cheap.
Burning your own saves more money and time in the long run.
If you dont like hard drives, you can just as easily burn your own bluray or dvds with a disk burner, preserving the show on physical media any way you like. Its a bit of work, but it also makes the viewing experience far better and cheaper in the long run. No waiting for shipping, only paying for the cost of blank dvds or blu rays in bulk, and not having to search around for retailers who carry the series your looking for. The bootlegers do exactly this. why pay for a substandard product when you can burn better dvds or blurays yourself?
