The Wet season is the equivalent of Summer and brings a lot of rain and higher temperatures which benefit fauna and flora and produce good harvests and increased chance of lightning. The Dry season is the equivalent of Winter and brings drought, poor harvests, death and lower temperatures. Despite the lack of Spring and Fall in that zone, the difference between day and night is more balanced and the Equinoxes still apply.

I should really consider getting in to SoulCalibur at some point.

I agree it would be very cool to delve in to all the Japanese folklore and legendary creatures, like Hibiki's Makamou. I think it should be authentic like Kakuranger with a lot of opportunity to explore the dramatic and romantic ninja lifestyle.
