What's interesting to me is that Kougami was always a chaotic force, rather than a strict Good or Evil guy, and I think that's where he's at in this movie? He brings back Nobunaga and then immediately loses track of him. Nobunaga almost buys Kougami's company out from under him, and Kougami's like Hilarious I Love It.

Of all the characterizations Inoue might not've gotten right, I do think he gave us a Kougami that's exactly how I remember him.
