One of the smartest elements of OOO's series construction is Kougami, and the way he resolutely doesn't learn from the perils of his enthusiasm. The bonkers commitment of the Fourze part really won me over. Nadeshiko is revealed as a pile of non-sentient space goo, and yet the entire team cheers on Gentaro's declaration of friendship and love for that non-sentient pile of space goo. (They also tease him relentlessly about having a crush on Nadeshiko, which is the most Having Friends As A Teenager thing I can think of.)

Yeah, I think Generations is a better format. The problem with Movie War isn't just that it's two separate stories, but that it's 1/3 one story and 2/3 another story. All of the Foundation X stuff is circling around the Fourze plot and characters, with a small cameo late in the OOO story. With Generations, there's a little more effort to create a story that makes sense for both Rider casts.
