Not to play Devil's advocate or nothing, but I sort of respected the way the movie suggested that the production history of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai -- specifically the way public interest switched over to Super Sentai during the Showa era -- was the real world expression of the battle between the two franchises. I wish the movie had made more a deal of it than just some tossed off Owner line, but I thought it was a clever way of contextualizing the "rivalry".

It's weird how much Marvelous is a jerk in this one? I don't know him, but even the Decade side of the story has Tsukasa trying to appeal to Kaitou. With the Gokaiger side, Marvelous is outright telling his all of his teammates that they were never friends. Seems harsh!
