Ninninger... I don't have an awful lot to say about, and I'm coming from a bit of an opposite direction to you: it's one of my least favourite Sentai shows that I've seen, but I would use that to illustrate that there's not a single Sentai I've seen that I don't like and that I've always been able to find a lot of positives in each one!

Like, okay, Ninninger. Not a show I'm crazy about, not one I was able to get into, definitely more than a few elements that didn't work for me. But Starninger is one of the best Sixths ever, Kyuemon had a wonderful arc and the two of them dovetail in and out throughout the middle of the show to parallel each other in a genius way; eventually culminating in a showdown where the whole team has wonderful drama with him and that fuels the overall ethos of the show about forging your own future in your own unique way which even used the Legend Sentai devices to make that clear...!

Again, I am talking about one of my least favourite Sentai here. One that I'm definitely not in any rush to revisit and one that couldn't click with me in the end. And yet I don't dislike it and I still have so much good to say of it! This is such a wonderful franchise for me as it just keeps putting out season after season that I can't find any overwhelmingly damaging problem with and which I'm always able to get something out of, and Ninninger is emblematic of that for me.



Also Toqger is one of the best Toku shows ever made and it's criminal I didn't comment on it; everything about it is quintessentially Sentai and relentlessly fun and it uses that as a feint to hide absolutely emotionally crippling twists and turns towards the end. Absolutely loved these kids and loved this journey and it'll always be close to my heart <3
