Sorry everyone, this is just my Timeranger rant thread now. I'm through episode 31 at this point and after the fiasco last time I was in this thread with the Inoue episode I have gone back to just really enjoying the show. This is easily the most fun I've ever had with a Sentai. I don't even have anything witty or insightful to say, the show is just has dang good characters and plot. I'm really enjoying all the different forces pulling the plot in different directions. The Timerangers, their superiors in the 30th century who seem to have their own plans, the Londerz, Gien acting as a loose cannon WITHIN the Londerz, the Asami Corporating, and Naoto within the Asami Corporation seeking power for himself. So much is going on and it makes me so excited to see where the plot is going! Right now I'll admit there is a little too much romance going on for my own personal tastes, between the Honami-Domon-Ayase love triangle and the most recent episode seeming to tease the idea of Tatsuya and Yuuri, but the show has been handling itself well enough so far that I am willing to trust it on this front. I think it helps that the show never gets so hung-up on its romantic elements it forgets to ever let the characters do anything else.

I'm honestly amazed that this is my 12th Sentai and the first one to really resonate with me like this. Took the series long enough! I tend to think of Kamen Rider as an inverse bell-curve (tends to be very good or very bad, with mediocre shows being comparatively rare) and Sentai as a normal bell-curve (where most of the shows tend to be decent, but rarely strongly good or bad). If Jetman is my low point for Sentai I am hoping this ends up as my high one.
