I have to comment on Timeranger episode 38 for just being a god-tier "late-season crack episode" as I call this sort of thing. There is so much to unpack from this episode: the amusing meta-element of a Timeranger episode about filming, the fact the yearly Hubbardian hibernation actually came up again, *Providus* launching itself through the Time Gate, the random ET parody, the fact none of it was actually real. I can't cope guys, why is Timeranger so good even when it is being ridiculous? That's not even getting into the fact that the episode was somehow still in-character for everyone AND thematically relevant to Timeranger's whole "fighting fate" narrative. Just incredible. Looks like the show is going to whiplash hard in the other direction next episode with what appears to be the Ayase-pain-train continuing, which kind of makes this even funnier. I honestly find it funny how disproportionately I like this show compared to Kobayashi's other toku, especially since I have been rewatching Ryuki, which I find significantly worse despite my opinion on it being higher this time around.

By the way, if any of you are thinking "Gee GX (the super cool nickname everyone totally calls me on Tokunation), it feels like you have been watching an awful lot of tokusatsu lately", then you are right. I am watching waaaaay too much and no one can stop me.
