Aaaaand Timeranger is finished! There's no two ways about it now, that was BY FAR my favorite Sentai. Like, that was probably a 9.5 out of 10 in my book and more or less everything I have always wanted Sentai to be. Both the heroes and villains were fantastic characters with amazing interactions with other characters. Like, legimiately I think this show had my favorite Red, Blue, Green, AND Yellow Ranger I've seen yet (sorry Yuuri, the Pink category is very competitive). The climax was AWESOME. The Dolneros just being out to get money and their interesting interactions were genuinely so interesting to watch. I also love how the show ended, with the team split apart and the future uncertain, yet it was brimming with hope at the same time. I was always really impressed with how the show would often avoid taking the easy narrative route. It could have been so easy to just drop the whole time travel intrigue aspect, or to have the characters stay in the past so the team wouldn't be broken up and the romances could be pursued. But it didn't, and that constantly impressed me. I was honestly sp cautious of this show at first, I was afraid it would collapse under the weight of its own ambition, but it really did manage to deliver on an amazing story, with thr characters both whipped about by the flow of fate and defying it in equal measure. No other Sentai is even close to this for me, and Gaoranger is going to have a real tough act to follow.
