Well, that's one way to get people out of a kotatsu.

This episode definitely solidifies Jyuran as my favorite character in Zenkaiger, with Kaito a close second. The man just gets too hot and tries to get everyone fired up by playing the Zenkaiger theme to everyone. Now that's a true super cool friend!

Besides that, this episode was hilarious and gave us our first look at DonBrothers, which I'll get to in a minute, from just a simple remark that leads to a perfectly comically-timed villain appearing with the same power, that turns people into cats (kind of fitting for the new year). It's especially funny how Gaon looks like he has a beard, or Kaito drawing faces on the oranges, and of course, more crazy role calls. Even more hilarious in how the Zenkaigers fight while still in their respective kotatsus, giving us a fight where the heroes fight almost completely stationary, which was a really fun and brilliant fight.

Now Don Momotaro definitely appears to be a flamboyant battle hungry type of guy, but he was rather fun to watch, and the CG for the mech wasn't too bad either, wish I could say the same for the bike, but I'm still wary of how well they can do a whole season that's CGI heavy. But overall, it's neat how we got an all-red mech in Zenkaiger, and it's fight wasn't bad at all.

Looks like Gege is doing some Kingdom Hearts shenanigans behind the scenes, and our boy Stacey is going to be out of the picture for a time. Looks like they'll either make Gege the final boss, or pull a Kiramager and have Barishtara break out of the wall or something.
