I don't know how divided people actually are? It seems like the folks who didn't like (or skipped) this movie largely fall into two different camps: Not Enough Ghost, or Too Much Ghost.

Obviously, these two camps ending up pulling in the same direction is something I find to be incredibly delightful. INOUE! Bringing fans of all types together! We're all one life!!!

The first act of this movie really felt like it was steering into a Heisei Vs Showa thing, a real generational struggle, but then it's pretty much abandoned by the second act. I like the concept, though!
