Sometimes it doesn't seem like there is a game. I feel Like Sony and Microsoft are doing this a lot lately. It's more flash than game. I felt like this some with Final Fantasy XIII a little bit. Did you guys ever get that impression in general?

Also what used to take 4 levels to finish is now one massive level. This started on Play Station 2 with Tomb Raider VII Legend. And other Play Station 2 games.

Oh 100%. It's even worse when it's a player like me who doesn't really care about graphics. As such, I've gravitated more towards retro and indie gaming. The last 10 games I bought were...New Pokemon Snap, Quake, Mario Party Superstars, Don't Starve, Hades, Megaman X Legacy Collection, Shin Megami Tensei V, Star Ocean First Departure R, Gone Golfing, and Aliens vs Predator 2010. I think that says a lot, lol.

Now, obviously my taste isn't the end-all be-all, and other people care about things that I don't. But man, I hate when people complain about "wow this game isn't 4k 60fps locked." Like...bro what about the actual game?
