Yeah, all of their hamfisted surveillance and unconvincing infiltration really worked for me. It's the first episode where I could see the Time Orphans as kids who've taken on too much, rather than highly-skilled warriors from a bleak future. I was right there with Sougo when he was shocked they were his age. Getting to see them as goofy kids play-acting as hardened warriors... man, it was exactly what I needed this show to do.
