One of the best things these last couple episodes have done is switch Geiz from some zero-tolerance bully into a tragic figure. Like, he maybe should've killed Sougo when he had the chance! Now Sougo's too powerful to defeat, and well on his way to being Oma Zi-O. Most shows would've had Geiz staunchly defend Sougo's kind nature and limitless empathy, but this one's like Well Actually...

Was not expecting to see Hina in this story! Eiji's not too hard to believe (he'd just shown up in the prior year's Winter Movie), but Hina! Hina, who we haven't seen in, like, five years! Very cool addition to this story, even if she doesn't end up lifting a sturdy bench and breaking it over Kuroto's head.
