That explanation by Uncle killed me. Of all the weird ways this show has tried to put a happy face on Time Dictator, I think Uncle suggesting that someone couldn't possibly have subjugated an entire nation unless people thought they were a good guy... like, that is hysterical. If you said that in a 2nd Grade history class, you'd probably be laughed out of the room. And this show just lets him say it! Mostly unquestioned!

Maybe! It feels less to me like Geiz vowing to destroy Sougo once and for all, and more like a weirdly dramatic Geiz running away from home because he cared about Sougo and Sougo hurt his feelings. Like, I'm very interested in that follow-up (I really like Geiz as someone who just fundamentally doesn't have a box in his brain to put friendships), but it doesn't feel like a huge repudiation of Sougo's activities.
