Enter the New Year! It's Episode 17!

-Depsite having a one or two ninja-themed Riders, I could never really see KR sticking with it for an entire season as a main Rider's motif? I feel like the acrobatics associated with ninjas could never pair well with Riders and how increasingly bulky the armor can get sometimes. Just seems more of theme suited for Sentai, yknow? (But who knows, maybe Rider Time Shinobi will change my mind.) In any case, Shinobi has a fun design and cool moves, so it's a pretty neat "what if?" scenario.

-A new Woz has arrived, driver in hand! I cannot see this guy's book as anything other than a high-tech password diary! The Time Jackers are just kinda....There, most of the time, so it's exciting to add a brand new threat with even more dangerous powers to mix! I think the reveal of an new future where everything seems ok (at the cost of offing Sougo) is a fun dillema for our characters to face. I remember this Woz being one of my favorites in my inital watch, I hope I still enjoy him on the rewatch.

-I forget if it's been mentioned before, but the Day of Oma! It's a thing now, as a thing our heroes will be forced to confront one day. I have Thoughts about this, but that's for another day.

-All in all, it's a pretty solid opener to a brand new arc! It feels like the Zi-O writers have a much stronger grip on where they're headed with this story, and I'm interested to see where that leads!
