Does anyone else feel like DonBrothers is a more "mature" show than a lot of the past sentai?

I don't mean death and sadness themes, but it doesn't hit the viewer over the head with jokes and nonstop events and it treats characters with time to get to know them. I know some complained that it feels like there's too much going on, but honestly it's not more confusing than the sort of cold opens we got in phase 1 Hesei rider or even modern shows like the MCU TV series'.

I'm just so impressed with this show and I'm wondering how it's doing with children.
