The big problem I had with the Time Nonsense in this episode is, like last episode, it's all stuff that's only for the audience's benefit. It's nothing to do with Geiz and Sougo right now, on a roof, deciding if they should fight to the death. It's only there to satisfy Tsukuyomi's curiosity, and it doesn't even do that! For the show to treat these incidental plot details -- incomplete ones, at that -- as something as crucial to the episode as the Geiz/Sougo scenes... like, it's such a misread of where this story's strengths are.
