It's definitely a line that feels more intriguing than it's intended, which is just to have Yuuto go Hey This Kid's Okay. Like, for him to do a verbal double-take on this sweet boy using the powers of a genocidal dictator in order to help people.

But at this point in the story, knowing Yuuto came straight from the future to bump off Sougo... it lands a little bit more mysteriously than the writer probably intended. There was a minute back before Sougo first fought Oma Zi-O, where I wondered if Sougo was being framed somehow, but it's way too late in the series to pivot away from this being Sougo's destiny. It's the sort of twist that... boy, I just feel like it'd ruin the show? Maybe there's a clever story to do with it, but thematically? Basically just torpedoed your entire series arc.

The OOO one specifically was really clever. I like that it's time travel, not just the Decade thing of summoning maybe the guy, maybe a simulacrum. This show's done a great job of making sure that all the powers are rooted in Time to some degree. I appreciate it!
