It's almost crazy to dedicate so much storytelling to propping Swartz up as a Big Bad, because this show has had one since its very first scene and it ain't Swartz. OMA ZI-O STILL EXISTS! He's an outstanding villain! He's all about fears of action versus inaction, and the inevitability of moral entropy! For a generation of shows that were all about growing up, he's the fear of what you might grow up into! He's the ultimate Heisei Villain!!!

For a minute in the beginning of this one, I was expecting them to pull a Wizard and make all of the lackluster Time Jacker plots into something sublime and clever. They did not do that! They maybe did the opposite?

There mostly isn't. It's Woz feeling embarrassed by his ruse, and Sougo being okay with it because Woz was just doing what he thought was best. It's hilariously minor.
