It is incredibly funny to me that one of the longest-running gags in Heisei Kamen Rider is Krim getting involved in a plot via the absolute stupidest mechanisms. He finds out that his history is being erased (?) so he contacts two teenagers he's never met before (??) and Go -- who is zero help in a time-travel caper -- to stop brand-new villains from removing one and only one ancestor from one specific point in time (???), but I guess those villains never actually wanted to succeed anyway since they needed the Drive Ridewatch which Krim probably would've handed over anyway (????).

Why is it so hard to involve Krim in a logical way?! How did the Brain special include Chris Peppler with more nuance than this movie?!

It's one of my favorite things about Sougo? He wants people to follow their dreams and work to make a better future for themselves, even if he's an obstacle to that future. I think that's weirdly heroic, his refusal to put himself above anyone else?
