The perils of time travel! He definitely meant to show up just after Tsukuyomi witnessed Sougo's origin and decided against killing him, where the irony of her being a destructive influence on Sougo would've been a deliciously ironic twist. Alas! Aqua is historically a barely-competent Rider, so he's well-suited for this temporal mix-up.

I'll be honest, I was never really a fan of the Uhr and Ora are seemingly going to be integrated into Team Zi-O plot they did there. They're seemingly misguided kids who got abandoned by their leader but like... they've still done some pretty messed up stuff. I think Ora moping around 9-to-5 and potentially selling out Heure to get back in Swartz'z good graces is exactly the sort of weird-ass scheming I always wanted the Time Jackers to do more of. She's -- at least in this episode -- not looking to reform, so much as she's looking to avoid taking any responsibility for her choices.

Heure, though! I thought this show (and the actor) did a decent job of reframing Heure's actions as someone who had the wrong role model, and things got out of hand. There's a genuine sense of self-loathing when Sougo cheerfully offers to protect him, where even Heure's like You Have To Be Kidding. I'm more interested in this kid than I've ever been before.
