There is a very Showa feel in this that I love, yet also very modern action movie but Tokusatsu to the core.

It looks as though the trench coat might be functioning as a "disguise" and the "transformations," which I thought at first was going to be nanomachines, son, is probably going to be similar to The First where they just pop on the helmet.

And this modern take on Shocker is very interesting, it's not the comical take-over-the-world, mustache twirling villains they've been 50 years ago, but still has that feel to them even without the evil facade, and that honestly makes them feel more terrifying. They're not trying to spread fear in the open but operating from the shadows and possibly having a presence in the everyday world manipulating things to their design.

I'm excited for when this appears next yet, but first, there's Shin Ultraman to look forward to.
