"Reject Humanity, return to Monke!" -Akaishi 2022

You know, funny enough, as much as I like Hiromi, I'm fine with Hikaru becoming Over Demons (whose suit I've grown to). People can argue Hikaru isn't really deserving of a Rider spot, but I think his recent developments make him a good choice in my book. I never disliked the character; even thought how he might have a bigger role later on when Weekend was introduced, I'm okay with this choice, no matter how much I'd love to see Hiromi again (my main issue is that after not dying he's mentioned alive once, then only in passing as though he did die), or how Tamaki and Hana (I can't get over the fact her name's Hana Natsuki) fit the role better, and George was always an obvious pick.

Anyway, lots of good character moments this episode, even if the Ikki/Vice one could have been done a bit better, I think the main cast is a pretty good, and it's always nice to see the heroes fail, which may sound somewhat sick, but it shows how big a threat they face and makes their struggle more "interesting." Gif looks cool, but that's about it, as Akaishi, whose acting skills are so bad they're almost good, is the one calling the shots (does anyone think to snap a phot of him doing evil demon stuff, the FENIX troopers literally have phone-guns?!), leaving the villains a little underwhelming coming after ARK, whose buildup was more interesting than Gif's revival, and Storius, who became a fantastic villain at the end. The best villain is so far Vail, as he's more threatening, and his background fits the bill a bit better.

Overall, I am enjoying Revice, even if there are some odd choices and weak executions, it's not bad, but it has dropped a bit from the early episodes. *Thinks back to Zero-One*
