I haven't taken too much issue with the final episode forms, I personally see them as just another way for the writer to justify having the base form show up and fight in the finale. Which itself is a trope(cliche?) that's existed in Kamen Rider all the way back since W fought the Energy Dopant.

Giffard Rex looks pretty neat, I dig the body horror aspect of all the zizzag lines going down the body implying Ikki and Vice are now covered in mouths.
